Our Client is an award winning pensions’ provider with over 40 years’ experience in the financial sector. They are an exciting, Bristol based business, looking to diversify and grow in areas they are already very strong in and their knowledge of the market is second to none.
They are a firm committed to providing products that are truly valued by financial advisers and client and they have been recognised for this service on many occasions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging and varied role. The role of Account Executive will allow the individual to build and maintain relationships with IFAs, Clients and other third parties.
Responsibilities will include:
• Dealing with daily telephone, post, fax and email administrative enquiries with clients and IFA’s.
• Dealing with banks, investment companies and stockbrokers, in all matters of SIPP investments.
• Dealing with transfers of other pension arrangements into the SIPP, marking up computer records and acknowledging as appropriate.
• Ensuring that the computer database is accurate with matters that are dealt on a daily basis and updating where necessary.
• Checking and completion of SIPP investment and bank applications.
• Crediting of cheques into the appropriate bank accounts.
• Raising of CHAPS, BACS and cheques from the appropriate pension scheme bank accounts.
• Dealing with all matters relating to the day to day general administration and operation of the SIPP.
• Dealing with complex investment transactions from inception to completion, involving fund vetting and compliance.
• Meeting client/IFA/Investment Managers, should they visit the office for clarification of procedure or resolving problems.
The successful candidate will have proven customer service skills and be able to pay close attention to detail. An accurate, analytical mind-set is required for the Account Executive role and the initiative to work independently is also a strong requirement.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of SIPP, Financial and Pension related products that will be offered to clients and will be able to evidence working in Pensions and transfers, ideally to IOC standard.
