Consultant switches Sipp firms to take up new role
James Cannon has made the switch to become business development consultant for the North West region.
He moved to Xafinity to become business development manager in August 2014 in a role to find solutions for IFAs and clients using Sipp and SSAS products.
This came after nearly eight years at AJ Bell as adviser relationship manager and pensions administrator.
Mr Cannon has over 12 years experience in the pensions and advice sector in total and also worked at Rowanmoor.
Mr Cannon said: "Talbot and Muir is a highly technical and well-resourced provider. It was an easy decision to make when I was looking for a new opportunity. I am looking forward to working with the board and aiding the growth in the business."
He will report directly to David Bonneywell, director at Talbot and Muir, who said: “James is a great addition to the sales team. We are looking forward to using his knowledge and experience of providing direct solutions to financial advisers and their clients using Sipp and SSAS products in the North West of England.
“His knowledge and experience of the pensions market will be invaluable to Talbot and Muir as it continues to develop and grow in this highly competitive market.
“He joins in response to more advisers working with us and James will aid our support of these firms as they seek new Sipp/SSAS partners.”
