James Hay hires rival's expert for Sipps to platform evolution
David Anderson, who previously worked for Standard Life, has been handed the role of head of change management as the firm bids to move from Sipp provider to a "full platform offering". He was head of delivery (Europe) in his last job.
Mr Anderson has gained extensive platform expertise in his seven years in the industry. His main responsibilities will be to deliver James Hay’s 2016/17 roadmap and to head up a team of 30. He will report directly to chief operating officer David Page.
Mr Page said: "I saw first hand when I was at FNZ how David steps up and gets the job done. Unflappable and great fun to work with, he’ll be an outstanding asset to the business as we continue our evolution from Sipp provider to a full platform offering."
Mr Anderson said: "There are many, many reasons for jumping at the chance to join James Hay, not least of which is the fact that while other platforms will be distracted by Sunset, James Hay has had 100 per cent discrete charging for many years now which means the change team can focus on the areas our clients have told us are important to them.
“This is a nimble and evolving business, it’s great to be part of that journey and to work with David Page again."
