A Sipp and SSAS firm has snapped up a consultant from Friends Provident International with extensive experience of working in the pensions sector.

Michael Hurley joins Talbot and Muir as business development consultant for Central London.

He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector working with intermediaries, including 12 years as a senior pension consultant at National Mutual Life and Scottish Life. His extensive knowledge and experience of the pensions and advice market will be invaluable to Talbot and Muir as it continues to develop and grow in this highly competitive market.

Mr Hurley said: "Talbot and Muir have an exceptional reputation within the industry for their technical expertise and high levels of service. This made it an easy decision to make when I was looking for a new opportunity. I am looking forward to participating in the growth of the business and developing our presence in Central London."

He will report directly to director David Bonneywell.

Mr Bonneywell said: “Michael is a great addition to the sales team. We are looking forward to using his experience as a senior sales team member and his excellent longstanding relationships with advisers, to assist their clients using Sipp and SSAS.

“He joins in response to growing demand from advisers for our Sipp and SSAS services in the Central London area. Michael will aid our support of these firms in developing opportunities, using our Sipp and SSAS product range.”
