Rowanmoor to run commercial property roadshows
The company says that the masterclasses will “highlight the advantages and key considerations when dealing with pensions property investment.”
Using a series of case studies, Rowanmoor will showcase the potential opportunities that commercial property investment can offer; walk through the areas of legislation governing commercial property and discuss the types of assets acceptable and the potential pitfalls. The sessions will also include a discussion on HMRC’s rules and how they can be interpreted.
The expert panel will include:
• Robert Graves, Head of Pensions Technical Services, Rowanmoor Group Limited
• Garry Treagust, Partner & Head of Commercial Property Group, Trethowans Solicitors
• Matthew Robinson, National Sales Director, Rowanmoor Group Limited
Mr Graves said: “We know that financial advisers will have occasions when clients have a need to purchase a particular commercial property. A solution can often be to use a SSAS, SIPP or Family SIPP to acquire the property and hold it as an investment, bringing with it tax-planning opportunities.
“The concept of investing in commercial property via a pension is relatively straightforward but we know that every case will be different and will present nuances that will need individual consideration.
Each seminar will last four hours in the afternoon and venues include Bristol, Leeds, Knutsford, London and Southampton.
