SIPP clients to get access to planner's 'robo killer' platform
PK Group, based in Richmond and a provider of varied financial services including wealth management and Financial Planning, says it will give some 10,000 of its customers the ability to use the so-called ‘robo killer’ platform Fundment to assess their own needs and invest and manage their assets. PK Group will brand Fundment's white-label offering as ‘KlikInvest.’
PK Group said Fundment has the low-cost advantage of an automated investing solution but places it in the hands of IFAs. The group added that the platform makes it easier to assess clients’ investment objectives, capacity for loss and risk profiles, as well as invest and manage their assets through an in-built discretionary fund manager.
The tie-up will give thousands of existing and new clients of PK Group direct access to the service to be called KlikInvest.
PK Group added that Fundment also offers an integrated, low-cost SIPP, and clients will be able to hold their investments in this through a fully managed investment service.
Fundment will allow end users to see the valuations and performance of their investments or pension pots 24 hours a day.
The client ‘on-boarding’, customer dashboard and adviser dashboard carries the PK Group brand and integrates with back office systems, which PK Group said will ensure a “fluid” experience for advisers and clients alike.
Patrick Kennedy, chief executive at PK Group, said that his firm was committed to harnessing the power of technology.
He said: “KlikInvest is easy to use and investors can be assured that the investment management is aligned with their risk profile.
“Investments are professionally managed and can be set up in tax efficient wrappers such as ISAs. Clients can access their accounts 24/7, set up regular contributions, create investment goals and much more.”
Ola Abdul, founder and chief executive of Fundment, said: “Advisers increasingly need to look to technology to remain competitive. Since we started, our mission has always been to put more power into the hands of advisers, and we believe this solution designed for PK Group shows we are serious about growing and helping IFAs to evolve in a market with ever changing conditions.’’
