Record turnout at advice network roadshows
Up to 1,000 advisers are expected to attend one of 10 roadshows across the country, which run for the next four weeks until 5 April, with presenters from provider partners and Openwork.
Changes to the panel, which were introduced in February, include the addition of Guardian, the expansion of the LV= proposition to include life and critical illness insurance and the addition of the Managed Life and Income Protection offering from The Exeter.
Some of the roadshows, which include events in Dunblane, Belfast, Warrington and Cambridge, are already full and attendance overall has been record-breaking compared to previous years’ events, Openwork has said.
Paul Shearman, proposition director, mortgages & protection at Openwork, said: “We decided to do things a bit differently this year and adopt a more creative approach to achieve the learning objectives from the sessions in a more engaging way.
“It appears to have caught the imagination of advisers who have booked on in record numbers.
“Our refreshed Protection Panel welcomes Guardian as well the expanded offering from LV= and The Exeter.
“The changes have landed well with advisers, delivering distinctive propositions and new opportunities to serve our clients.
“I am particularly pleased to have added Guardian and applaud the ambition of Life: Made Better.”
Openwork Limited has more than 3,900 financial advisers operating across the UK.
It operates as a directly authorised, multi-panel distribution network.
