New appointments and departures at Sipp providers
• Pointon York has appointed Ian Bell as executive chairman of its Pointon York Sipps Solutions. Mr Bell joins from AJ Bell where he worked as operations director.
Jo French departs from her role as managing director which she began in 2008 to join Hornbuckle Mitchell as managing director of operations and client experience.
• Hornbuckle Mitchell has appointed Bob Adams as managing director of infrastructure. He joins from his role as global chief information officer at UBS Global Asset Management.
Mary Stewart is leaving her role as sales and marketing director, a role she has held for the past seven years.

• Curtis Banks has appointed Rollo Wilson from Suffolk Life as key account director following the firm's acquisition of Alliance Trust Full Sipp book earlier this year. Mr Wilson was previously head of operations at Suffolk Life, a corporate member of the Institute of Financial Planning.
• Xafinity has appointed Jeff Hunt, former partner at KPMG, as deputy managing director. He will take over as managing director from Robert Birmingham in April 2014 when Mr Birmingham becomes executive chairman.
