Former Skandia marketing director Nick Dixon has been appointed as investment director at Aegon UK.
Mr Dixon will join Aegon in September alongside Hillary Williams who joins from Sainsburys Bank.
Mr Dixon worked for Skandia from 2002 until February 2013, initially as director of strategy then marketing director from 2007.
He was made redundant when 200 jobs were cuts from Skandia when it merged with Old Mutual Wealth.
Ms Williams worked as marketing director at Sainsburys Bank from 2007 until 2013 and will take up a newly-created role at Aegon as director of customer value management.

The firm said the appointments would help Aegon to capitalise on new opportunities and meet challenges in the UK retirement market.
