Barnett Waddingham expands Sipp panel with 3 more DFMs
The three wealth managers, who manage a combined total of over £40bn for private clients, have been added to Barnett Waddingham's panel to offer advisers a wider range of investment solutions to meet the demands of their Sipp clients, says the company.
The new relationships come as part of Barnett Waddingham's continuing plans to provide a range of innovative, cost effective Sipp offerings for financial advisers' clients.
Julia Bassett, chief executive of BW SIPP, said: "Many advisers are choosing to concentrate on Financial Planning and outsource investment management and partnerships of this nature are essential to allow us to respond to the need for a greater choice of Sipp investment solutions. Outsourcing the investment element of the client proposition makes working with the right partners all the more important.
"We have been enhancing our Sipp offering over the past few months and additions of such a strong calibre will enable us to provide leading investment solutions to financial advisers".
Barnett Waddingham LLP has been in the self-invested pension market since its inception in 1989 when it provided SSASs and launched its Sipp in 1999. It now administers over 2,200 SIPPs representing almost £1bn of assets under administration including 800 properties. It is aimed at high net worth clients of financial advisers.
The firm has 60 partners and over 550 staff, based in seven locations around the UK.
