Paraplanner Powwow 'unconference' heads to London
Paraplanner Powwow Down South - as it's officially known - is set for London on 21 January. It follows the first Paraplanner Powwow, held in giant teepees in Northamptonshire, and the smaller Paraplanner Powwow Up North.
The event will be a round-table discussion in which Paraplanners can get together to talk about the practicalities of day to day Paraplanning life.
The idea is to share ideas freely and promote best practice.
John Redmond, Paraplanner at BPH Wealth Management in Harpenden, and Alan Gow, of BPH Wealth Management, are the two main organisers of Paraplanner Down South.
They are supported by leading Paraplanner and IFP board director Richard Allum and several other leading Paraplanners including Claire Goodwin and Joanna Hague.

Mr Redmond said: "The top topics will form the basis of two structured discussion sessions, to be followed by the main Powwow, which will take the form of a quick-fire question and discussion session where Paraplanners can benefits from the knowledge and insight of their peers on a range of subject chosen by them."
Participants will receive an email before the event asking them to vote for their preferred topics for the day.
The event starts at 10am and ends at midday.
There will be an opportunity for participants to stay for a further hour and continue discussions in a more informal manner over lunch.
The event will be held at Transact's offices at 29 Clements Lane, London, EC2N 7AE.
Due to this larger meeting space that has now been secured a final batch of 20 free tickets are available from the website below.
