Parmenion has hired a managing director of a wealth management firm as it continues its plans to grow the business following its recent Sipp wrapper launch.
Richard Goodal, who has held board positions with Ascentric and 1st Software/IRESS, is to join as partner with responsibility for sales and marketing strategy.
He leaves his position as managing director of UK Business Transition at SEI, a global institutional and private client wealth management company.

Richard Mein, managing partner at Parmenion, said: It's an exciting time for us as we launch to Advisers the key proposition enhancements that we have developed in-house over the last few years.
"With our free Sipp wrapper launched in May and the innovative simplified advice technology revealed in June, we have a great proposition for ambitious adviser practices seeking to deliver multi-channel advice."
Parmenion launched an in-house Sipp available to platform clients after finding there was demand from advisers.
Parmenion appointed Diane Jones, a member of the Association of Member Directed Pension Schemes, earlier this year to head up the project.
Mr Mein said: "I am delighted that a senior executive of Richard's calibre has chosen to join Parmenion as we work towards the next stages of our expansion.
"He has a proven track record of helping retail and institutional distributor businesses deliver change through technology and is ideally suited to deliver our future vision."
Mr Goodall said: "Parmenion is a fast growing business with a compelling proposition that leverages great technology, investment expertise and a culture that puts the adviser at the heart of what they do."
Parmenion was founded in 2007 and now serves over 900 Advisory firms looking after 16,000 underlying clients.
Assets under Management are over £1bn and invested through Parmenion's range of over 100 different discretionary investment solutions.
