Guest speaker, Julia Kirkland, managing partner at Financial Services Training Partners, will discuss how to write compliant pension transfer reports that focus on the pension reforms.
Her career in the investment management arena spans over 30 years' and she has led several FSTP Investment Sector open courses whilst also writing for Citywire and working for The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
The seminars will also feature Claire Trott, head of technical support at Talbot and Muir, who has over 13 years' experience in the pensions industry.
She will use her breadth of knowledge of the Sipp market to examine the practical applications of the pension and death benefit reforms in both the Sipp and SSAS sectors.
Ms Trott said: "April sees a seismic change in the UK pension market. It will be imperative that advisers are fully conversant with the new legislation and able to pass this knowledge onto their clients.
"Our seminars are designed to help advisers to ensure their clients can benefit fully whilst remaining compliant in an ever more regulated environment.
"The biggest area of interest we have seen in the run up to April has been the changes to death benefits and intergenerational planning opportunities. So this will be an obvious focus for these sessions."
