Mr Young, also an ex-Price Waterhouse Coopers manager, said: "I am absolutely delighted to have joined the team at Xafinity Sipp and SSAS to cover Belfast and Northern Ireland.
"I am very positive about my new role and I am confident that a local presence in the IFA community will lead to many more opportunities for new Sipps and SSASs."

Asked his view on the current state of the Sipp and SSAS market and what he believes the big issues he will have to tackle in his new job will be, he said: "Capital Adequacy for Sipp providers was a big concern for some IFAs in Northern Ireland and Xafinity have a very strong story to tell. Some of the smaller Sipp providers - and a few bigger ones - will face some really big challenges in 2016 and beyond as the new capital adequacy requirements begin to bite."
He believes Xafinity has "a very strong financial position for the 2016 Capital Adequacy rules for Sipp providers" and a "really strong reputation with advisers in Belfast in respect of customer service".
