Sipp and SSAS operator Rowanmoor has hired a senior sales consultant from rival provider Hargreaves Lansdown for the London region.

Tony Kehlar has over 20 years' experience working in financial services and joins Rowanmoor from Hargreaves Lansdown, where he previously worked as an independent financial adviser concentrating on holistic pre and post retirement planning, in particular pensions including Sipps.

His previous roles include business partnership manager at AXA Wealth and senior consultant at Aviva where he oversaw the development of a panel of IFA accounts for 10 years.

Mr Kehlar will join the national sales team and will report to Bob Battersby, the regional sales manager for London and the South East.

He will be responsible for promoting the group's pension products and services to intermediaries and financial advisers across London and the surrounding area, covering Middlesex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, London, Surrey, Kent and Buckinghamshire.

Mr Kehlar is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
