While the outcome Ashes is still to be decided this summer, a Sipps firm has already got its hands on a cricket trophy with the help of some international stars.
Curtis Banks triumphed in the Middlesex Cricket Trust 7-a-side charity tournament.
Malinga Bandera, a former Sri Lanka player, and Kyle Abbott, who plays for Middlesex and South Africa, were part of the Curtis Banks squad for the day in the six team contest which took place in June. Paul Stirling, an Ireland international, was also in the side. It was the second year in a row that Curtis Banks has won it.
Sam Robson, who has opened the batting for England, also featured for another side in the competition.

Liam Williams, account manager at Curtis Banks, said: “The final against Teddington was a keenly fought battle with Teddington posting 79 runs from their 6 overs, with the standout bowling performance from 13 year-old Cameron Banks, whose only conceded 6 runs from his over.”
Cameron, the nephew of co-owner Chris Banks was man of the match.
Mr Williams said: “Curtis Banks batting was good enough to get to the last over requiring 14 runs, which was 5 runs to win off the last ball.
“Milan Bandera (our ex-test match Sri Lankan player) hit a four which left the scores tied. We duly won as we had lost fewer wickets than Teddington.
