SIPP provider boosts international presence with hire
Ms Saker has worked in the financial services sector for 30 years with a specific pension focus for the last eight years, most recently with Harbour Pensions in Malta, which was recently purchased by the STM Group.
Ms Saker said: “I am excited to be joining Momentum Pension at this stage in their development, not least as they are one of the most established SIPP players in the international market place and I am looking forward to working closely with regulated advisers across the Asia region, and providing technical and administrative support.”
Craig Cheyne, Momentum pensions group head of sales, said: “We have created this new role, reflecting our success in the region, and driven by the need to have more day to day interaction with advisers.
“Bernie is hugely respected in the Gulf Region in particular, as well as Emerging Markets in the Far East.”
Momentum Pensions said her appointment underlines the commitment to expansion at the UK and international pensions specialist.
Momentum believes it was the first company to offer the option of switching SIPPs for free within a multi-jurisdictional proposition.
