High net worth individuals (HNWIs) in the UK are significantly underestimating how much money they need for the retirement they want, with the average respondent misjudging by around half.

A year on since the increase in the pensions’ annual allowance, the majority of HNWIs (56%) are not utilising the extra £20,000 allowance available to them, new data from the Saltus Wealth Index Report has revealed.

More than half (53%) of High Net Worth individuals say they have been victims of a financial scam - a 10% rise in just six months.
