The National Audit Office has warned that a rise in supplier costs and the delivery timetable being extended by two years, have increased the government’s Pensions Dashboards programme’s estimated cost by 23%.

The National Audit Office, the UK’s independent public spending watchdog, is to probe the FCA’s handling of the British Steel Pension Scheme restructuring which resulted in many steelworkers transferring their pensions into SIPPs.

The FCA has pushed back publication of its Annual Report and Accounts - due this month - for at least two months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
